Whether you’re staying at home this Valentine’s Day because of the myriad of pesky restrictions that have been put in place as a result of the pandemic of COVID-19, or simply because you’re determined to be sickeningly cute, you’ll need some ideas for at-home activities.
Well here they are darlings, these at-home activities are sure to give you a pleasant and pleasurable Valentine’s Day with your partner.
Binge Watch Everything!
Every couple has their favorite shows to watch together. The only trouble is, not many couples have the time to binge-watch their favorite shows all the way through, except on Valentine’s Day!
If you and your partner have been craving episodes of shows like Gotham, 90 Day Fiance, or Masked Singer, Valentine’s Day is the time to watch it all! Curl up on the couch, throw on your favorite show, and don’t forget the snacks! You could always feed each other chocolate-covered strawberries while you’re at it if you’re into that sort of thing.
Cook Together, or Just get Takeout!
Although most people find it customary to make dinner reservations for Valentine’s Day, COVID-19 has changed the way we live. Cooking a Valentine’s Day meal together can be an extraordinary experience that can bring you closer as a couple.
There are plenty of Valentine’s Day-themed recipes that you can try together. Alternatively, if neither you nor your partner are inclined to experiment with the culinary arts, you can always opt for takeout instead. It would give you more time to binge-watch all of those shows!
Have a Slumber Party in the Parlor
Once you have your shows lined up on the telly and you’ve procured some food, you can make it a night to remember by having a slumber party in the parlor. Bring all the pillows and blankets you can find, cuddle up, and enjoy the night.
When you’re all cuddled up together under the blankets, you’ll find that not being able to go out isn’t so bad after all.
Enjoy a Bubble Bath as a Couple
If you’re really ambitious, you can draw a bubble bath for the two of you. Want to go the extra mile? Setup a laptop, tablet, or anything portable with a reasonably large screen and set it up in front of the bathtub where you can see it.
Try spicing it up a little with bath salts and lavender. You can’t beat that!
Voila! Now you have plenty of ideas for stay-at-home activities to make this Valentine’s Day one to remember!
